Meteor hits Brazil causing brilliant fireball in the night sky

A flash in the sky of the Metropolitan Region of Recife and some cities of the state on the evening of Wednesday, residents left impressed. According to the Astronomical Society of Recife (SAR), high brightness was caused by a bolide, a large meteor that possibly came from a meteor shower in the constellation Orion. For Alto Observatory Sé, Olinda, the fireball can be formed by a meteor or space junk. Earlier on Thursday, comments on social networks about the phenomenon were recurrent and many people also claimed to have seen the glare in the interior of Pernambuco, Paraíba, Alagoas and Rio Grande do Norte. via You Tube
