When A Monster May Not Be A Monster

Of the many strange and varied mysteries of the U.K., there are few stranger than that of the Big Grey Man of Ben Macdui (BGM), which is a mountain in Scotland’s Cairngorms range. There’s no doubt at all that the leading authority on the BGM is researcher-author Andy Roberts. He has spent a huge amount of time trying to get to the heart of the mystery of this alleged, large, shadowy thing that some have claimed is a definitive British Bigfoot. Others, meanwhile, have asserted that it is nothing stranger than something akin to what is known as a Brocken...

Scotland Had A Real Sea Monster 170 Million Years Ago

Cryptozoologists may bicker about the existence of the Loch Ness Monster, but 170 million years ago, the area that's now Scotland had a different sort of beast. In September 2016, researchers unveiled the fossil of the Storr Lochs Monster, a type of ocean-dwelling ichthyosaur that would grow to 13 feet (4 meters) in length. If it is real, then it is a sea creature between 40 and 60 feet long with a double dorsal fin. The only such creature ever reported was Giglioli's Whale, which was observed in 1867 about 1200 miles off the coast of Chile. However, there have never been...

Monsters That Are Close To Home

Many people assume that to search for, investigate, and find strange creatures, it’s necessary to travel thousands of miles to locations as exotic as they are mysterious. Well, yes, sometimes that is true. Take, for example, the Chupacabra of Puerto Rico: a glowing-eyed beast that sports vicious fangs and claws and a dangerous row of spikes down its neck and back. You’ll chiefly find it in and around the island’s El Yunque rain-forest. It’s the same with the Abominable Snowman, or Yeti, of the Himalayas. Unless you’re a resident of the area, you’re certainly not going to find the legendary...

Mothman caught on camera in Argentina?

A mysterious figure with wings was sighted in the small city of Qulino in Argentina. The small city only have 5000 habitats. The case happened in October but it only reached international websites now. This seems to be something related to Mothman, because winged humanoid sightings are not that common, at all. So here’s the news summarized: Back in October, the citizens of Qulino started to report about a strange humanoid figure showing up in the middle of the night and disappearing like a wizard (turning invisible as they said). Due to the city size, the reports quickly traveled to...
